The Speaker's name is Todd Bentley. We watched it on God TV Saturday & Sunday nights. Last night, a prophet, Paul Cain spoke. So much deception here....some of the quotes were:
"There is no need to check what I'm saying with scripture....wait til we all get to heaven and then you will see I'm right."
In addition, these Kansas City Prophets of the Vineyard movement (and called by other names as well....like Joel's Army, etc.) claim they, themselves, are prophets greater than Daniel, Moses, Samuel, Ezekiel, Elijah, John the Baptist, etc. and they name the names...these are just the ones I can recall. They believe that 2 of them are the 2 Witnesses from Revelation....but I guess they are unsure of who those 2 are except that they are in their group.
We discovered (through a simple Google search) that Todd Bentley supossedly had an angel appear to him by the name of "Emma O"...., which again, he mentioned last night, whom, he claims, changed his life, attributes his salvation to as well as prophetic visions, etc. THIS he, himself mentioned on last night's broadcast. (It seems that all these "prophets" have angels and prophetic visions.) Well, of course, we wondered who in the world is Emma O??? and "googled" her....since we also saw a mention of this being a demon.... Yes! Without a doubt! The Japanese Buddhist god of the underworld (from the Sanskrit Yama). He lives in the Yellow Springs under the earth. EMMA-O: King of Hell... the overlord of hell (Jigoku), corresponding to the Indian deity Yama. Jigoku is ruled over by Emma-o, the Japanese lord of death In Japan. Yanluo is referred to as Emma (older Yemma), or Emma-ō (閻魔大王 Enma Dai-Ō, "Great King Yama").
There was "no revival"...there was no preaching, no scripture being read, no message being given.
He kept hissing the Name of Jesus, last night, which bottered me as well....
Then the little boy with CP who was "healed" on Saturday night.He was there again in the same condition as last night. The Lord heals Completely, if He heals....HE doesn't heal in degrees. No where in scripture are we shown someone having their blindness partially healed, or their lameness partially healed, or just a few demons cast out. All the healing ever performed in scripture was done totally whether by prophet, disciple or Jesus....
A couple from the Canary Islands came last night to show that the Lord had given them 2 new "Gold" teeth....1 for each, far back molars in both. Yes, it could happen....but the Lord always uses His Own Laws and His Own stuff. The Lord would not give gold teeth when what He originally created in our mouths far surpasses gold.
So I'm skieved out pretty good about now. I see the method of drawing in the poor, largely uneducated peoples of this little rural Florida town...the locals come out in curosity and see people caught up in hope and the euphoria of Hope. They drawn in the druggies, the homeless, the unchurched and feed them food. The "prophets" and their minions move throughout the meetings (small at first & held in a very small church), with listening ears, comforting arms, some ability to tell these seeking souls "things no one else could know" (by mimicking what Jesus told the Woman at the Well....and their replies are also word for word what she said) and they gain their trust. (I know that this is possible -- Satan does indeed give insight to others of people's inner thoughts, allowing them to not only puff up their own pride, but to deceive others as well.......and these "prophets" may indeed believe in their hearts that they are doing God's Work---that's the sad/tragic part.) Thru word of mouth, news spreads that these common folk-looking preachers, lacking lofty speech, with humble counternances & "loving arms" are the real thing and much can be gained....and the crowds grow larger. And even though no admission fees are charged, the baskets are passed and the coffers grow larger and larger as the crowds increase.... and through deception, cause the people to think they are being healed and then the Message that comes upon them is one inspired straight from hell .... But now with the coffers expanded, they can proceed to the next, larger city and gain more funds in order to spread more and more poison.
BUT TODAY, they ran an ad in the Tampa Tribune looking for permanent quarters.
