    Re: Earthquakes

What are we looking at, Debbie? Are these normal readings or abnormal? What do they mean? Any ideas? I'm sure Dutchsinse will keep us posted, even if USGC doesn't, huh?

It means something is going on. I'm waiting for DutchSince to talk about it because I don't know what it means exactly.

          Re: Earthquakes

Dutch hasn't posted anything yet? He seems to stay up most of the night and then posts later in the day, however, based on a radio show he did the other night, he said he was possibly doing a TV show. So, he may just be busy but I will keep checking his channel. He predicted that we would continue to have high 5's or 6's everyday, though!

Limit to Earthquake 'Domino Effect' Found

When an earthquake cracks open the Earth's surface, scientists now find there might be a limit to how far such rips will split, findings that could help map out what hazards quakes might pose.

This is the first day in many days (1-2 weeks?) we have not have a 6.0 earthquake. But there was a 5.8 in the list below and a couple of interesting places: coast of Oregon, Gulf of California, Mexico, and Northern Mid-Atlantic Ridge.

Here is Dutch's update on Earthquakes and Volcanoes (I put this in Volcanoes, also):

He points out that due to the uptick in earthquake swarms in volcanic areas, this means to him a large earthquake is imminent. Due to this he predicted a large earthquake just before Japan's quake.

Quake Flash report : Harmless moderate earthquake near St. Lucia, Martinique and Barbados

Just after midnight local time a moderate earthquake struck below the sea-floor of the triangle St. Lucia, Martinique and Barbados.

                                http://earthquake-report.com/2011/08...-and-barbados/

That was about a a hour and a half ago.

I wonder if my orange sky a couple hours before that was a indication of that earthquake??
